I walked a few dozen miles along the streets of my old neighborhoods, met at least 200 people indoors and out, got food poisoning in Flushing, got propositioned in Jackson Heights, got bagels in Hell's Kitchen, took 30 pictures of a mattress on the Lower East Side. . . This was NYC , October 9th-13th, 2023.
